Vintage at Home

It's the time of year for spring cleaning and I'm totally inspired by all the great interior design in Mad Men right now so I've been trying to spruce up my little flat. I'm aiming for an entirely vintage home, I'm not there yet but lots of little car boot sale knick-knacks are helping. What do you think?

My Favourite Things

It's been a while hasn't it. Oops.

Here's an excuse you won't be expecting. This week Matt (the boyf) and I hosted our first ever animal-themed clubnight. It was called Pet Sounds and it was at The Social. It was awholelottafun. So basically for the past couple'o'weeks I've been all consumed with pet disco related thingummies. Not too consumed to pick up some excellent new vintage bits and bobs from the Angels Vintage Sale and a couple of awesome car boot sales, but more on that later...

EXCITING NEWS OF THE WEEK: The lovely Lena from Queens of Vintage has asked me to be one of the site's Vintage Queens. I am SUPER excited! She asked me to send some pictures and I realised all my vintage photos tend to be of items I'm selling on ebay or things I've just bought and am a bit unsure about. So, this afternoon I set to work modelling all my favourite vintage outfits. Matt wasn't happy (as the only other person in the flat, he was designated photographer), but I think he did a pretty good job.
