To cut or not to cut

I managed to snap up this amazing 70s dress on eBay for £13 with the thought of turning it up from a maxi to a knee length tea dress. Now that I've tried it on I can't bring myself to do it! I can see myself getting more wear out of it if I turn it up but I'm loving the length. What do you think?
